QUEEN: in a BDSM context, usually refers to a gay male dominant with strong effeminate mannerisms. QUEENING: a practice in which a dominant female sits on the face of a submissive, forcing them to perform oral sex, anilingus, or both. The practice of face-sitting by a female dominant.
QUEENING STOOL: a low stool, about 6 to 8 inches high, with a large round opening in the seat, used for queening. Sometimes queening stools are made from a toilet seat affixed to four small legs. See above related QUEENING.
QUEER: a term used to describe gay culture or to define a person as homosexual. In the vanilla world, this term is sometimes used as a derogatory name for a gay person; however, in the BDSM world, it is increasingly being used as a prideful title or a statement of intent. QUIRT: a small leather whip with a stout handle, approximately 15 inches in length, usually with two falls at the end. The quirt was originally used in horseback riding to encourage a horse to move faster, or to goad cattle.
